Self love.

It’s a tricky little bugger.

How easy is it to look at a picture of yourself and pick it apart instead of looking at all the beauty that you bring to it? It happens way too often.


I remember the days when I would go to castings in Japan and be measured in centimeters… I’m gonna tell you right now… don’t ever measure yourself that way. It will mess with your mind. When your job is to look good in photos it becomes easy to pick out every imperfection. It can be hard to break that cycle.

I see women and girls picking themselves apart every day looking for the right filter or photo shop app to make everything look “perfect” and playing the comparison game.


Self love is not just about the way we look either….It’s about how we talk to ourselves.


Do you speak to yourself with kindness and compassion? Do you choose to be around people that uplift and encourage you? Do you make yourself a priority and fuel your body with the proper nutrition and exercise?! It’s time to lean in to the self love. It’s gonna take a conscious effort. We have to let go of others opinions and change the narrative in our minds. Start talking to ourselves with kindness.


Every time you start criticizing yourself take a step back and notice it. Then change the story. Turn that negative into a positive.
Find the beauty in yourself. YOU have the POWER to make that choice. To fall in love with yourself over and over again.
This month in my wellness bootcamp we are focusing on self love and this morning I asked everyone to write a love letter to themselves and seal it up for later.
